The manager, Mike, is fantastic! He brings a lot of professionalism and great stories to the customers. The hotel is clean and conveniently located right across from the golf club. It's my third time staying here and I highly recommend it. The location is also close to everywhere in this small town.

On the positive side, the hotel is located close to where we were going, which was Bolt Castle.

The hotel was clean and had great facilities. Parking was convenient, and the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. We could easily walk down the street to the boat tour in Thousand Islands, and the hotel was situated by the river, providing a beautiful view. Additionally, the staff was friendly and helpful.

The friendly staff and the manager, Database Mike, make your stay enjoyable with their professionalism and interesting stories to share. It's my third time staying here, and I highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic Christmas stay at this cozy inn. the rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and homelike atmosphere. the pleated shades on the windows were a nice touch, letting in just the right amount of sunlight. the location was perfect, with easy access to the St Lawrence River and all the activities it offers, such as fishing and boating. We also loved the comfortable Adirondack chairs outside, where we could relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. it was a delightful experience.

There were a few drawbacks to our stay. the bed sheets were a bit rough, which made sleeping somewhat uncomfortable.

Clean, cozy, and everything worked

During my recent stay, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and cozy the room was at the Clipper Inn. Despite the limited square footage, the room was nicely decorated and had plenty of space for all my belongings. I especially loved the homelike atmosphere, with the pleated shades on the windows, which added a nice touch. It was clear that the staff takes great care in maintaining the cleanliness of the rooms. The motel definitely exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness and comfort.

The rooms were nice and clean, and the location was convenient for our Easter getaway. We also appreciated the fact that there were two beds in the room, as we were traveling with our kids. Plus, having a refrigerator and a microwave was very convenient for storing and heating up leftovers from the delicious Easter dinner we had in town.

I had a wonderful experience at the Clipper Inn in Clayton. The location was perfect, situated on the St. Lawrence River with breathtaking views. As a fishing enthusiast, I couldn't ask for a better spot. The motel itself had a charming ambiance and the staff was exceptional. I felt safe leaving my motorcycle outside overnight. The early bird specials at the restaurant were delicious and offered a great variety of choices. The shrimp scampi was divine, and my grandson loved the butter sauce. The portion sizes were generous, even enough to take home for another night. I couldn't find much to dislike, perhaps a minor need for an update in the motel's appearance and the screen doors could be less noisy. However, overall I highly recommend this hotel.
