We had a fantastic stay at The Deers Head Inn Tavern! Our aim was to explore the high peaks, and this hotel was conveniently located for that. The contact-less arrival was seamless, with an easy access code provided for both the front door and our room. The room and bathroom were spotless, and we loved the added touch of having a record player and a library of records. The decor was cool and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The owner, Rob, was friendly and gave us great recommendations for local breakfast spots and hiking trails. The bar and restaurant had a great selection of drinks and delicious food. We wish we could have stayed longer!

I had a great time staying at this beautiful old house that has been newly refurbished. The room was super large and cozy, with a comfortable sofa and a record player with a stack of vinyls. I loved the atmosphere and the vintage decor. The library with tons of books, microwave, and coffee machine were nice added touches.

Although there were no other overnight guests during my stay, I still enjoyed the peacefulness of the inn. However, it would have been nice to have breakfast in the house and interact with other guests, maybe turning it into a real bed and breakfast.

The inn is decorated beautifully and has a warm and friendly atmosphere. The pillows were incredibly soft and comfortable, and we loved sipping our morning coffee from the unique deer head mugs. When everything was closed late at night, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious microwaveable dinners from Stewart's across the street. The convenience of having Tops and Kinney drugs right next door was also a plus!
