The Elms exceeded our expectations in several ways. the location was fantastic, being in a nice neighborhood and within walking distance of many historic sites. Secondly, the attention to detail in the rooms was exceptional, with hand-painted walls, beautiful antiques, and a cool four-poster bed. Lastly, the breakfasts were simply delicious, with a wide selection of options that catered to all tastes.

The Standard Apartment was perfect for three people. Bed linens and bed were divine. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Breakfast was delightful, with perfectly cooked eggs and the best grits. Our hostess was welcoming, offering supper and providing a tour of the home.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming B&B in a historic neighborhood. The location was perfect, with the downtown area and the Mississippi River just a short walk away. The breakfast was delicious, with southern dishes that were to die for.

Southern Hospitality at its best! Enjoyed the warm welcome and the cozy feel of the rooms. the beds were comfortable with super soft linens. the complimentary wine was a nice touch. Great location, right near historic sites and great shops. a nice stay with an authentic southern feel.

Staff Attitude and Lack of Finesse. Unfortunately, the staff attitude left much to be desired.

Stayed over New Year's weekend. the rooms were spacious with luxurious bathrooms. the breakfast was delicious, served with real silver settings. the location had a great view from the second-story veranda.

The house was in need of some repairs. the host was not very attentive and didn't provide a house tour or much information about the history.

I recently had a fantastic stay at this charming bed and breakfast. The hotel's location is excellent, as it is within walking distance of many of the historic sites that draw visitors to the area. The hotel is also situated overlooking the beautiful Mississippi River, providing a picturesque view. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, with a four-poster queen bed and a huge flat panel TV. I especially loved that my room opened straight out onto a beautiful balcony, where I could relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. The attention to detail in the hotel's decor was also impressive, with many original pieces of furniture and accessories adding to the historic ambiance. Furthermore, the service by the staff was outstanding, always friendly and attentive. Lastly, the breakfast served each morning was simply wonderful. The southern cuisine was at its best, with a variety of dishes like eggs, pancakes, and of course, grits. this hotel provided an excellent experience in terms of value for money, amenities, location, and service.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was more than satisfactory.
