I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and close to various dining options. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the comfortable rooms and basic amenities provided. I particularly liked the live music that played outside on Saturday night, adding to the lively atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any inquiries. Additionally, the breakfast served in the coffee bar/cafe was delicious and a great way to start the day.

Minor inconveniences like street traffic noise outside were noted, but it did quiet down during the night.

Excellent Customer Service

During my stay at Equus, I had a small issue with my room key expiring. However, thanks to the vigilant and courteous front desk staff, this was quickly resolved. Linelle, in particular, went above and beyond to verify my identity and save me a trip back downstairs. I greatly appreciated her attention to detail and adherence to proper procedures. Additionally, her warm wishes for a Happy Valentine's Day made my day even more special. The staff at Equus truly knows how to provide exceptional customer service.

Secondly, the staff's attention to detail was commendable. They thoughtfully provided basic amenities and even went the extra mile with their touches. Lastly, the location was ideal, as it was close to the Ala Moana Shopping mall, making it convenient for shopping and dining.

All in all, this hotel left me with a positive impression.

Worst aspects of this hotel were the lack of a pool and the limited mobility access. It would have been nice to have a pool to relax in after a busy day, but I understand that space constraints may have made that difficult.

The hotel's location to The Equus was great, with a convenient ABC Superette and restaurants within walking distance. We loved the charming and unique room decor, with different furnishings in each room. The staff was friendly and quick during check-in, and the bed was comfortable. The keurig coffee machine in the room and the energy efficiency were nice touches.

The location of the hotel was ideal for someone who wants to be in direct touch with nature. It was within walking distance of all the action, near the Ala Moana shopping center, and close to everything, making it very convenient. The staff, particularly Haunani at the front desk, greeted us with so much Aloha and made sure we were taken care of. The room itself was comfortable, with a big and comfy bed. Despite some cleanliness issues mentioned in one review, the overall service was good.

The lack of in-room WiFi was a drawback and should be improved.

The best thing about our stay was the convenient location. We could walk to Waikiki beach in just 10 minutes and to Ala Moana shopping center in the other direction. We were surrounded by high-rise corporate hotels, but this hotel stood out due to its fantastic location. Additionally, we found the hotel facilities to be excellent and enjoyed easy access to transportation options.
