As a tourist, I loved the modern and stylish decor of the rooms at this historic building. The bathroom had excellent lighting, and the shower was top-notch. The comfortable mattress ensured a good night's sleep, and the large, clear television was a nice bonus.

The front desk staff was very helpful, going above and beyond to meet our needs. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the convenience of the parking and transportation options.

The room was AMAZING! The best was so comfortable. The staff was great! They were very inviting, check in/out was very easy, they called a bit after we checked in to make sure everything was good, and were also helpful in the morning for breakfast recommendations. The overall design and appeal of the building was beautiful. Valet was also very convenient and that staff was also fantastic.

This hotel is a great value for money. It has attentive staff, basic amenities, and is located close to everything downtown Hartford has to offer. The rooms with a king bed and an outside viewing window are a unique touch.

No major negatives, just small improvements needed like more accessible outlets or a longer timer on elevator doors.

We got great value for our money at The Goodwin in Hartford. The King Studio room was elegantly designed and spacious, with luxurious towels and a spa-like bathroom. The location was convenient, with excellent dining options nearby and attractions within walking distance. The staff treated us like family, from the helpful valet who found us a parking space to the caring desk manager Evan. The historic architecture with updated touches made our stay even more memorable. And we can't forget the maple-cardamom donuts at breakfast - they were fantastic!

The service here is top-notch - the staff is quick to fix any issues and they even have people who can open the doors for guests with luggage. The rooms are clean and have all the amenities you could need, including a mini-bar and a flat-screen TV. The staff is very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The facilities here are great too, with a fitness center, a bar/lounge area, and a restaurant. we had a wonderful experience here.

Wij verbleven in een gezellige B&B op loopafstand van het centrum, met een ruime suite en een aparte slaapkamer. Het dakterras en de tuin waren aangenaam om van te genieten. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en voldoende. De kamers waren goed verzorgd en er waren gratis flesjes water en extra handdoeken beschikbaar. Gelukkig was er een ventilator op de kamer om tijdens warme dagen verkoeling te bieden.

Helaas werden de kamers niet schoongemaakt, terwijl dit wel zou moeten volgens de vermelding.

I recently stayed at the Goodwin in Hartford for two nights for business purposes. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a wonderful and helpful staff, including Tim at the reception. The entire team, including the friendly young ladies, made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The hotel had a great vibe and the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The place was impeccably clean and the breakfast, although slightly limited, was tasty with good value for the vouchers. The on-site coffee shop was a great touch and the location was perfect for my needs.

I recently stayed at The Goodwin for a weekend event at the X Center. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with a creative decor. Our spacious room had a pleasant view from the 5th floor and excellent soundproofing. I appreciated the provided robe, although it would have been nice to have hooks in the bathroom for towels. a comfortable and convenient stay.
