This place is in a quiet wooded area, perfect for a peaceful getaway. It's also close to all the colonial attractions, making it easy to walk downtown and explore the historical center. The staff here are friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was clean and comfortable, with great amenities like a terrace and in-room safe. And the spa and wellness center provided the relaxation I was looking for.

We had a wonderful stay here at this hotel. The location was perfect, right in front of the fountains in the Colonial area and close to the Williamsburg Historic area and Market Square. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The housekeeping and dry cleaning services were efficient, keeping our room clean and tidy. We also enjoyed the shuttle service provided by the hotel. The room amenities were impressive, with ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. The terrace and patio offered a great space to relax and enjoy the garden furniture. we were very pleased with the quality of service and amenities offered here.

This hotel is perfectly located, just a short walk away from the Historic area. In fact, you can easily take a stroll downtown or even visit Busch Gardens from here. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. The hotel staff provides great service and the breakfast options are varied. You'll also appreciate the big porch, natural setting, and the quiet surroundings.

Be aware that there are stairs and no elevators in the hotel and rooms may face the tennis courts, which can be noisy in the morning.

My recent stay at The Griffin Hotel - A Colonial was absolutely delightful. The room was clean and comfortable, making me feel right at home. I particularly enjoyed the view of the pond from the balcony, it was truly picturesque. The design of the buildings was also unique and added to the charm of the hotel. Additionally, the location was excellent, with easy access to the Colonial Parkway and the Virginia Capital Trail. I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect, just 2 blocks from the main street in colonial Williamsburg, allowing easy access to the restored homes, taverns, and activities. The room, dressing room, and bathroom were all spacious, clean, and well appointed. We enjoyed the free WiFi, mini refrigerator, and safe for storing our valuables. The sheltered balcony with chairs and table was a nice touch. The hotel offered a private tennis court and an 18 hole golf course on-site, which we found convenient. The mini breakfast included coffee, juice, cereal, and snacks. As business travelers, we appreciated the helpful staff and their efforts to make our stay memorable.

The only downside we experienced was an overcrowded continental breakfast on Saturday morning due to a large group of teenagers on a school trip. The breakfast area was packed for about an hour and a half, making it difficult for guests to access the room.

The value for money at Griffin Hotel was great, and the room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The location was perfect, just a couple of blocks away from the main street in colonial Williamsburg, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
