The hotel was in urgent need of renovation and repair. the facility looked run down, from the entry to the restaurant and outside walkways.

We had a fantastic time at Doubletree By Hilton! The trendy boutique decor and chic bar area made our stay extra enjoyable. The comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep, and breakfast at Zagmans was amazing. We highly recommend dinner at 220 Merrill as well, the service and food were spectacular. we had an amazing experience and would love to come back again.

The location was perfect for our needs and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We loved the size of the balcony and the staff was friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant/diner was a great bonus and there were multiple options for lounging. The room was a good size for a couple and we appreciated the hidden safe and fridge. The full-size ironing board was also a nice touch. The highlight of our stay was the amazing bartender at the Duke bar who made our anniversary celebration unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

The parking lot can be a concern as it feels unsafe with a sign stating the hotel is not responsible for stolen or damaged property.
