I recently stayed at a hotel close to Williams College for a few days. The hotel was much nicer than some reviews I had read. The room and bathroom were extremely large and everything was clean and in order. The atmosphere of the hotel was like a charming country hotel in the Cotswolds, England. The beds were comfortable and the room had a lovely window seat. The hotel also had a roaring fire in the lobby/living room, which added to the cozy atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the chocolate chip cookies in the room and lobby were a nice touch. it was a great experience.

We had a lovely stay at Orchards Hotel for a few days while visiting Williams College. The rooms were uncommonly large and well-presented with big windows and large bathrooms. The hotel's courtyard was also delightful, and we enjoyed a delicious dinner outside on the courtyard deck. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, and the chef even came to greet us at our table. We appreciated the comfortable temperature of the hotel, especially during the winter when it was snowing. The staff was friendly, and we received cookies delivered to our room. On top of that, we received a 20% discount on a meal of our choice in the restaurant.

The hotel is in need of some repairs and maintenance. the mattress on the bed was uncomfortable and past its prime, causing backaches.

I was impressed by the size of the suite, with a spacious sitting room complete with a cozy fireplace and TV. The bedroom had a beautiful four-poster bed and additional amenities like a dining table/chairs and desk. The bathroom was fantastic, featuring a separate vanity area, a luxurious jetted tub, and a large walk-in shower with multiple jets. The turn-down service with cookies was a nice touch. I had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Orchards.
