My recent stay at The Ritz-Carlton in Chicago was absolutely fantastic. As a solo traveler, I was delighted by the excellent staff and stunning room. Any small issue with the cleanliness was quickly resolved upon check-in, ensuring that it didn't impact my stay. The location of the hotel was ideal, and the concierge and door staff were always happy to assist with directions and recommendations. The view from the room was beautiful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I also have to mention the great old fashioned cocktails and the helpful valet parking staff. I would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at The Ritz-Carlton in Chicago for a weekend getaway. The lobby renovation is spectacular, creating a stunning first impression. The Torali restaurant exceeded our expectations, with a fabulous menu for both dinner and breakfast. Each of us had a different choice, and all of them were the best. The service from multiple servers in the restaurant and bar was exceptional. Our room was great, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One standout during our stay was Frank from the front desk, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We are already planning to return to see Frank!

Totally recommend this hotel.

The beds were so comfortable and the staff was incredibly accommodating. I also loved the fact that the lobby felt like a home away from home. We were able to play board games for hours and the staff even brought us snacks and drinks. It was a wonderful experience.

The lobby renovation took away some of the hotel's past elegance and made it feel more sterile and contemporary. The seating in the room was not very comfortable and the shower and toilet being in the same small space made it feel cramped and potentially unsafe.

Not one thing.

The hotel had a convenient location, with easy access to shopping and dining options. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing space to unwind after a long day. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent customer service throughout my stay.

I was the lack of attention to detail in certain areas of the hotel. Some of the furnishings and decorations seemed outdated and in need of refurbishment.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in downtown Chicago. The location is excellent, right next to Michigan Avenue and the beautiful lakeshore. The hotel facilities were top-notch, especially the indoor pool and spa area which were incredibly relaxing. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with directions or any other requests. The breakfast choices were really good and the food was delicious. the experience at this hotel was truly enjoyable.

The breakfast at the restaurant was absolutely amazing with options like fruit hashbrowns and steak and eggs. The staff treated us with kindness and respect. The view and the bed were awesome, and the room was large enough for my husband's scooter. The reception person was extremely accommodating and quickly changed our room to be handicap-accessible. The lobby renovation was spectacular and the Torali restaurant had a fabulous menu for both dinner and breakfast. The staff provided exceptional service in both the restaurant and bar.

The hotel offered great amenities such as an indoor pool and a fitness center, which were perfect for relaxation and staying active during our stay. The location of the hotel was also ideal, being in close proximity to shopping centers and restaurants. Additionally, the staff provided excellent service, with the concierge going above and beyond to make our stay special, including setting up a kids tent in our room and arranging for milk and cookies as a treat.

Furthermore, the initial room we were given did not match the description advertised and had a subpar shower. It wasn't until we requested a new room that we received a much better one with a great view.

The Ritz renovation is stunning, with a gorgeous lobby, bar, and terrace. The rooms are contemporary and spacious, with comfortable beds. The view is amazing, and the location is perfect for shopping and dining. The breakfast with smoked salmon was delicious. The reception staff quickly accommodated our needs and the bellman and doorman provided excellent service.

The subway is also conveniently located nearby, making it easy to explore other parts of the city. The Torali restaurant & bar offers delicious meals and a vibrant atmosphere. The rooms are well-appointed, with luxurious robes and a coffee machine. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay.
