The location is perfect, close to the beach and we loved the clean pool area! They have great cabanas and the breakfast has plenty of good options.

It wasn't the cheapest option around but worth it.

Super comfy beds with amazing views. We had a 2 room unit, Air conditioning, kitchen, and a washer/dryer. The hot tub was great and the fitness center was a nice touch. The pool is open till 11pm right by the beach. Breakfast improved after the first day. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Location was perfect, easy access to the beach and nearby restaurants. The room was dated and needed maintenance. The pool area was clean and enjoyable. Noisy guests interrupted our sleep.

Breakfast was decent—the buffet satisfied our needs—but cleanliness in the dining area was inconsistent. the noise was a real issue—fireworks blasting late into the night disrupted our sleep. The bathroom fixtures felt outdated and lacked comfort. While some staff were exceptional, others missed the mark. The amenities were nice, particularly the outdoor seating, but the carpet needs replacing, and housekeeping could improve. A few tweaks can elevate this experience. Would consider a return if changes are made.

From the Beaks and Brushes event at Ripley's to the REO Speedwagon music show, we had a blast. The place is a total vibe, jam-packed with rad activities and good times.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing great support and ensuring we woke up pain-free. The room layout was convenient, but it felt small for the price. We enjoyed the ocean view right from our window; waking up to that was a delight. the noise from neighboring rooms was quite noticeable, especially at night. The fridge and microwave were missed as they weren't present, which was a letdown. Temperature control was effective, keeping the room pleasant.

The outdoor pool was a splash of fun and relaxation! I loved lounging by the firepits with friends, making unforgettable memories. The staff's warmth made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived!

I felt like The Strand had a great ocean view, but unfortunately, the experience wasn't as pleasant as I had hoped. The room smelled like mildew, and there was mold in the bathroom, which was quite off-putting. Even though we booked a non-smoking room, people were allowed to smoke on the balconies, which made it hard to enjoy the view. The air conditioner broke in the middle of the night, and there were no other rooms available to switch to. the bed was surprisingly comfy, and the balcony did offer a beautiful view of the ocean. It was disappointing that we couldn't fully enjoy it due to the smoking situation. The rooms definitely needed updating, and for the price we paid, I expected better quality in terms of cleanliness and amenities.

Staff had mixed responses—some were friendly, but others didn’t seem concerned about our needs. The outdoor patio was a fantastic retreat, but the inconsistencies left us wanting more during our stay. Would consider returning despite the drawbacks.

For 1.5 days, no fresh towels or trash pickup, and housekeeping was a joke. I ended up cleaning my own room. It just wasn’t what I expected!

Amazing beach views and close to fun attractions

The stunning ocean views from the balcony are just unforgettable and having direct access to the beach made my vacation even more enjoyable with nice grassy areas overlooking the water for the perfect relaxing atmosphere and a short stroll led me to amazing attractions like the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk which is almost 2 km away or the fun Ripley's Aquarium just over 2 km from the hotel giving me plenty of options to explore and dine at nearby great spots like the Sea Captain's House just a few steps away for delicious seafood or the quick dining options such as Jersey Mike's Subs and Donald's Pancake House both within 5 minutes walking distance but the room could have used a small table and a mini-fridge for convenience.

Comfortable beds, beautiful ocean views with the hotel's prime beachfront location allowing easy access to the sand and surf.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.
