We loved the charming bungalow room with a private patio - such a pleasant surprise! Gorgeous property with lovely outdoor seating areas, and a fabulous restaurant on site. The continental breakfast was simple but filling. we would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this venue in the heart of town. It was located in a quiet residential area just a few blocks away from the bustling State Street, making it an excellent location for us to explore downtown on foot. We loved the traditional Victorian architecture and lush garden surroundings, as well as the service provided by the staff. Our room was serviced with excellent attention to detail, and we appreciated having access to the lovely terrace and garden furniture. Additionally, there were great amenities such as free toiletries, a flat-screen TV, and air conditioning that made our stay even more comfortable.

During our Christmas stay, we loved the cozy and Victorian-style ambiance of the hotel. the beautifully landscaped grounds added to the charm of the place. the staff were very helpful and accommodating, making us feel welcome and taken care of. the location was key, as it was conveniently located just a few blocks away from the main street where all the restaurants, stores, and attractions were. This made it easy for us to explore the city and enjoy everything it had to offer.

One downside was the limited parking space available. It was a bit frustrating to find that there were not enough parking spots for all the guests.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the location was perfect - nestled in a quiet neighborhood just a few blocks away from the bustling State Street. It felt like a serene oasis in the center of the city. Secondly, the service and staff were exceptional. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the helpful recommendations throughout my stay, they made me feel right at home. Finally, the rooms were cozy and comfortable, with clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. It's clear that attention to detail was a priority, and I appreciate that.

I recently stayed at The Upham Hotel for a weekend getaway. The charming atmosphere and superb location were perfect for exploring the area. The restaurant manager was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food at the restaurant was outstanding. I especially loved the lovely touch of cheese & wine and cookies & milk. The staff was wonderful and made the check-in process quick and easy. it was a great place with inviting common areas and outdoor seating areas, and lots of nearby restaurants and shops. Perfect location for exploring, easy walk to State Street. Beautiful hotel and grounds with a nice courtyard area for relaxation. Clean and quiet rooms. Basket of goodies and a bottle of wine provided at check-in. Great bistro restaurant attached. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast, wine and cheese, and Oreos and milk included. Comfortable beds and beautiful grounds to sit and relax.
