Vaquero Motel cabins are beautifully remodeled, with exceptional Southern hospitality. Tracy and Mary Jane, the management, make sure guests have a cozy and clean stay. Each cabin has a porch and fire pit, perfect for relaxing nights. the location is wonderful, right by the Medina River and a short walk to downtown attractions.

No lock on the bathroom door; switches don't work consistently.

Tracy's cabins in Bandera were a delightful stay. Perfect location, clean cabins, and lovely amenities. Tracy's extra touches like corn for ducks and s'mores packs were a highlight. Pricey for a motel on Memorial Day weekend, but worth it. Great location near Main Street and local spots, although music from Cowboy Bar might disturb early sleepers. Refreshed grounds, fire pits, and game area add charm. A few room drawbacks like limited seating and window access. Charming layout with individual cabins, outdoor activities, and comfy bed. Enjoyable stay in a lovely town.

Texas vibe got me two-stepping among wild horses near a famous bar! River views in a rustic room, with firewood for a cosy night by the outdoor fire. Friendly staff, close to town for awesome eats and shopping. Maybe add cute wild horse blankets for sale? Great spot for music lovers and cowboy wannabes like me. High-five from a Berlin theatre buff with a thing for honky tonk bars!

Staying at the Vaquero Motel in Bandera with our six-month-old baby was a delightful experience. the remodeled cabins by the Medina River offered a cozy setting for relaxation. Being in close proximity to landmarks like the Frontier Times Museum and St Stanislaus Catholic Church added to our family bonding. the Southern hospitality and comfortable accommodations make this a top choice for our next visit.

The cabins are cozy and charming, with each one having its own parking spot and veranda. the courtyard amenities like group fire pits, cornhole, and roping "steer" added a fun touch to our stay. Being within walking distance to downtown and popular bars made it convenient to explore the area. Plus, the comfortable king-size bed and Southern hospitality from the staff made us feel right at home.

One downside was the noisy bed, which affected our sleep quality. the lack of storage space for clothes in the main bedroom and issues with the coffee machine were a bit inconvenient.

We loved the charming cabins with cozy interiors and outdoor amenities like group firepits, cornhole, and BBQ. the hotel's location by the Medina river, close to downtown's restaurants and bars, was convenient. Additionally, the staff was accommodating to our late arrival, ensuring a clean and cozy room for us.
