Traveling through New England to view fall leaves, we chose to stay at The Wayside Inn. The older, original home added to our experience, with its dated decor and creaky floors, adding to the charm. Our spacious room overlooked the river with vibrant fall colors and a picturesque iron bridge. Dinner in the dining room was delicious, with a roast pork tenderloin and Brie and walnut bread pudding. The cooked-to-order hot breakfast was a bonus. Staff was friendly. Would recommend and return.

The staff was friendly and the cooked-to-order breakfast was a great added bonus. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, making this inn even more appealing. We would recommend and return.

The river view from the balcony was enjoyable. The room was spacious and cozy. The inn had a nice fireplace in the living room. The restaurant and bar were convenient. The breakfast included was tasty.

During our romantic escape, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming hospitality of the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. the cozy and quaint ambiance of the hotel created a comfortable and intimate atmosphere, perfect for a romantic getaway. the location of the hotel was ideal, conveniently situated near popular attractions in the beautiful White Mountain region. We were able to easily explore the Cog Railway and Franconia Notch State Park. Additionally, the delicious food served at the onsite restaurant exceeded our expectations. the creative specials and picturesque view of the river made our dining experience truly unforgettable.
