I had a great stay at this small hotel in Kekaha. The location was perfect, as it was close to Koke'e State Park and some beautiful beaches. The staff was excellent and provided me with an early check-in and even upgraded my room to one with a full kitchen. The room itself was spacious and clean, with new kitchen appliances. The king-size bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the option of using either the AC or the fan. The hotel also had good WiFi and plenty of towels provided.

One minor issue I had was that the AC was a bit noisy, but it still worked well. Additionally, the pillows provided were not to my liking, but that's just personal preference.

The West Inn Kauai in Kekaha was a perfect choice for our stay in Kauai. The hotel staff was friendly and understanding, and we had the entire hotel to ourselves for a few days. The location near Waimea Canyon was convenient for exploring the trails and canyons. The rooms were spacious and nice, with no need for a key card. The hotel overlooked a beautiful backyard with a glimpse of the ocean. The affordable pricing and great food options within walking distance were also a plus.

Not one thing.

The rooms were clean and had good quality amenities. the easy parking and convenient walk to the grocery store and restaurants were a plus. the hotel's location on the main road may result in some traffic noise, but it wasn't too bad. Plus, hearing the sound of the ocean from our room was a nice touch.

The AC was a bit old and finicky, and the location didn't offer many options for dining, especially at night. There was no breakfast provided, and the overall vibe of the hotel felt more like a motel.

As foreign tourists, we loved the convenient location near Waimea Canyon and the spectacular hiking trails. The room was clean and had a refrigerator with a freezer, making it easy to store food and snacks. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the Wi-Fi was fast and always available. Additionally, there were great breakfast options across the street and shave ice nearby. We also appreciated the nearby historical spots of interest, such as the mission house, Russian fort ruins, and Cook's landing.

Felt great, no reason to complain.

Best aspects of our romantic escape were the clean and spacious room and the friendly and accommodating staff. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, allowing us to move around comfortably. the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. Additionally, the hotel's location was advantageous, being close to several beaches and within walking distance of a great shave ice location.

Worst aspects of our experience were the lack of attention to detail in maintaining the room and the unhelpful receptionist. the room was not properly cleaned, with an unmade bed and rubbish left from previous guests.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for our stay. the location was great, with easy access to Waimea Canyon and other centers in South Kauai. It was the perfect starting point for exploring the beautiful scenery and beaches of the southwest side of the island.

There were a few aspects that were disappointing. the lack of daily housekeeping was an inconvenience, especially since the hotel is priced as a standard hotel.

I recently stayed at the West Inn in Kekaha for a week-long hiking trip around Waimea Canyon. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were clean, and I appreciated that they weren't cleaned every day, as I prefer to take care of my own cleanliness. The location of the hotel was perfect, with shopping and dining options within walking distance, and Waimea Canyon, Polihale Beach, and Poipu all nearby. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was a plus for staying connected during my trip. a great experience!
