Just stayed at the hotel across the bus station in Savannah. LOVED the retro touch in the rooms! the bed was oversized and so cozy! Would choose again. the garden area was even better than in photos.

The Thunderbird Inn in Savannah exceeded my expectations with its retro charm and exceptional staff. Annie, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The hotel's retro atmosphere, complimentary snacks, and pet-friendly policy added to the overall positive experience. Although the room had some minor cleanliness and noise issues, the prime location and nearby landmarks like the Savannah Historic District and Forsyth Park allowed for easy exploration and family bonding. The garden area and leisure room provided relaxation opportunities, enhancing our enjoyment during the visit.

i loved my stay at the thunderbird. the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the rooms were clean and comfortable. the property had a nice retro look with modern updates. the location was perfect for exploring the historic district and within walking distance to restaurants. parking was affordable and convenient until the afternoon of departure. there was even a fenced area for dogs, though i didn't bring mine this time. overall, a great value stay with great accommodations.

My recent stay at The Thunderbird Inn was fantastic! I was in Savannah for a weekend getaway and the retro-hip theme of the motel and room details really added a unique touch to my experience. The staff member at check-in was incredibly helpful and made me feel welcome right away. I loved that they offered free popcorn and the coffee, served in real mugs, was absolutely excellent. The location was perfect, with everything I needed within walking distance. The wifi was fast and reliable, the A/C kept me cool, and having a mini fridge in the room was convenient.
