The rates at this hotel were much lower than downtown, and it was just a 5 minute drive away. I loved that there was a game store and regular shops nearby, so I could get souvenirs at non-tourist prices. Having a fridge and microwave in the room made it very convenient. The location next to the university was great too.

I gotta give props to Timbers Inn And Suites. The room was way better than I expected, clean and top-notch quality. The staff, especially Elena, was super friendly and welcoming. Plus, the location was on point with awesome nearby places to eat and hangout.

I stayed here on my way to see my son in Salem and I am so glad I booked at Timbers Inn And Suites! The staff is amazing, the room was immaculately clean and cute, and the grounds are well-kept. The location is very central and convenient, with plenty of food options nearby. The bed was comfortable and the shower had low pressure but still did the job. I felt safe walking to downtown for a Shakespeare play and the 1.5-mile walk was enjoyable.
