During our Christmas stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the charming atmosphere and cozy cottages. the cabins were comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, including a soaking tub and a collection of vintage movies. the location was perfect, with a short walk to downtown where we enjoyed shopping and exploring the historical sites. the friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

Honestly, there was nothing that we disliked about our stay. Everything was great and we couldn't have asked for a better Christmas experience.

The owners were incredibly friendly and hospitable, even letting us know when the cabin was ready ahead of check-in time. The location was ideal, with easy access to hiking trails and a short walk to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!

We recently stayed at the Yellow Cottage in Talkeetna for a few nights and it was a wonderful experience. The cottage had a charming and cozy feel, with clean and comfortable furnishings. The bed was especially comfortable, and there was even a single bed nook for our third person. The location was quiet, yet conveniently within a 7 minute walk to downtown where we found plenty of shops and restaurants to explore. The community was friendly and welcoming, and our hosts, Trisha and Rockett, were responsive and helpful. We can't wait to return!

We stumbled upon this gem while driving from Denali to Anchorage and it was the perfect break. The cozy cabin had everything my family needed and more - from a relaxing soaking tub to a fun collection of vintage movies. The working piano added a special touch. The owners were incredibly friendly and even let us check in early. The location was fantastic, with cute hiking trails right across the road and everything in town within walking distance. I can't recommend Trapper John's cabin enough!
