The hotel room was extremely comfortable with a nice shower and provided amenities. The hotel had a modern and fun concept, with complimentary soaps and shampoo on the walls. The self-serve pancake machine for breakfast and free coffee all day were great perks.

There were issues with cleanliness and maintenance. Some rooms were not properly cleaned, with food and spilled soda in the bed frame.

During our recent stay at Tru By Hilton, we were pleasantly surprised by the youthful atmosphere and modern ambiance. It brought back memories of our younger days and made us feel energized. The hotel has clearly put in a lot of effort and resources to create a futuristic establishment. It was truly impressive.

There were a few drawbacks to our stay. the hotel charged my account for all four rooms on the day of my mother's funeral, despite the fact that I usually use the "pay at Hotel" option.

My stay was mind-blowing! The modern and fun vibes were jaw-dropping. The bed was super comfortable. The room was clean enough and had complimentary soaps and shampoo on the walls, which was a nice touch. The self-serve pancake machine and free coffee all day were a delightful surprise for breakfast. The staff was amazing, always friendly, professional, and ready to help. All facilities were exceptional and very clean. The breakfast was amazing, and the lady facilitating it was kind and did an outstanding job. The room was neat and tidy upon check-in. The price was very reasonable, and the large pool was open until 11pm. The breakfast was tasty, hot, and served for a long time. The rooms had great organizing features, like a shelf above the bathroom vanity and many hooks on the walls. The floors were clean vinyl wood-look, with good lighting and plenty of outlets. The free pool table and board games in the lobby added extra fun. We loved it so much that we stayed at another hotel in the same chain the next night, which had two foosball tables. our stay was a 5-star experience!

I had an amazing stay at Tru By Hilton! It was my first solo hotel experience and I spent my birthday here. The building is beautiful and everywhere inside is incredibly clean and organized. My room was spotless and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were fluffy, and the shower was amazing. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the front desk ladies were absolutely wonderful. The breakfast selection was great, with extended hours, and my family loved the warm saltwater pool. I felt comfortable and safe here, and I would 100% recommend this hotel to others.

Worst stay ever. the people in the next room were yelling all night, fighting, slamming doors, and dealing drugs.

I loved the late check-out option, perfect for my never-ending schedule. The hotel magically provides newspapers and a fax machine, just what every traveler needs. The continental breakfast was a feast fit for a queen.

Oh, how I hate when there's too much parking space and a business center! It's such a burden having the option to play billiards and being near a beautiful shoreline.

On a positive note, the hotel staff was friendly and the lobby was welcoming. the presence of a pool table and board games provided some entertainment. the indoor pool was clean and enjoyable. the rooms were in good condition and well-maintained. the shower had useful amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, and body soap conveniently mounted on the wall.

It would have been nice to have a backup waffle maker to avoid this issue. the presence of a puddle of water in a heavily trafficked hallway was concerning.

Mind-blowing variety of breakfast options including hot eggs, coffee, and large muffins. The friendly and hard-working staff went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. All facilities were exceptional and impeccably clean. Our room was tidy and comfortable upon check-in. The staff member in charge of breakfast was amazing, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. The Tru experience was truly 5-star and we want to extend a big thank you to the entire team for their outstanding service.

I recently stayed at Tru By Hilton in Monroe for a weekend getaway. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond. The hotel was spotlessly clean and had a wonderful aroma throughout. They even provided small bottles of shampoo and shower gel since they were temporarily out of their usual supply. Despite a dead battery on our room door, the staff quickly resolved the issue and let us in. The breakfast selection was great, and though the pancake maker was not working, the staff made every effort to fix it. The pool and gym were available, although I didn't get a chance to use them. Surprisingly, despite the number of kids, it was quiet at night. I will definitely choose Tru By Hilton for my future visits to the Detroit area!
