I recently stayed at a hotel near Old Sacramento and the Amtrak station, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by Vagabond Inn. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Old Sacramento and the train station. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a refrigerator and microwave which came in handy. The hot tub was a nice bonus and the hot breakfast included was a great start to the day. The service was consistently excellent, and the staff even accommodated my last-minute request for a specific room. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very close to the train station, which was great for my travel plans. The shuttle service was convenient and saved me money on Lyft rides. Despite being near the freeway, I slept soundly and did not hear any noise. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of major attractions and amenities. We loved being so close to Old Town and the state capitol, making it easy to explore the city. the rooms may be on the smaller side, but they were clean and comfortable. the air conditioning was a savior during the hot weather, keeping our room cool and comfortable.

One aspect we didn't appreciate was the pet policy. While we understand there may be extra charges for bringing pets, we felt that the $30 per dog fee was quite steep, especially considering our dogs slept on the floor.

The room was fairly modern and the bed was comfy enough. the free breakfast was a nice bonus, with a decent variety of options to choose from. the convenient location near the highway made it easy to get on and off the 5 freeway.

The location of our room was not ideal, being on the top floor and at the far rear of the facility. This made it quite a hassle for my husband and me, especially as seniors with a lot of baggage.

Just a short stroll from the hotel's parking lot, I found myself immersed in the historic streets and captivating atmosphere. The convenience of being able to walk to all the attractions was a major plus for me. The room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed after a long day of exploring. Although the breakfast buffet wasn't extraordinary, it provided a decent variety of options to start my day off right. The friendly staff and convenient parking made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location and comfortable accommodations.
