Nothing not to love.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The room was spotless and had a stunning view of the Columbia River. The hotel grounds were beautifully landscaped with a mix of natural features and vibrant gardens. I loved being able to open the window at night instead of relying on the AC. The staff was incredibly friendly and even called me before my stay to check if I had any special requests. The location next to the river was perfect for exploring the nearby coast and visiting a breathtaking waterfall at the property next door.

There was nothing I didn't like.

From the moment I arrived at this hidden gem, I knew I was in for a treat. The well-preserved buildings may have seemed old at first glance, but stepping inside revealed beautifully updated interiors. And the grounds? Absolutely stunning! I couldn't get enough of the breathtaking view from my room. Armed with binoculars, a drink, and my camera, I explored the property, marveling at the vibrant flowers and meandering pathways. Eating and drinking at The White Buffalo was another pleasant surprise - the skeptics in me were quickly proven wrong. As the evening approached, I looked forward to cozying up by the fire pit. This first-time traveler to the Pacific Northwest will definitely be returning to this area and, without a doubt, this hotel!

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the park-like grounds with BBQs and picnic tables, as well as the beautiful rustic gardens.

This was my third stay at this peaceful and convenient hotel. The staff is friendly and the rooms are always clean and well-maintained. The property gardens are beautiful and the view of the river is a nice touch. The rooms are spacious and I particularly loved the balcony and the surprise rain shower in the bathroom. The location is great for exploring Hood River and the nearby restaurants are excellent. I will definitely be returning.

westcliff lodge in hood river is truly a hidden gem! the stunning gardens and breathtaking river view make for a perfect stay. the friendly staff, spotless rooms, and comfortable beds exceeded my expectations. this is definitely one of the best places i've ever stayed, and i will be back!

The view from our room was fantastic! We had a ground level room with a spectacular view of the river. The room itself was large, clean, and nicely provisioned. We particularly enjoyed the fact that it had a kitchen and a combined dining/living area. the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

The noise from the nearby highway. Although our building was further away from the road, we could still hear some traffic noise, which was a bit bothersome.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The view of the Columbia River from our room was absolutely amazing. The room itself was clean and well-furnished, and the bed was super comfy. We appreciated the extra blanket and pillow provided, as well as the coffee maker. The fact that the hotel is pet-friendly was a huge plus for us, and taking our dogs for a walk on the well-kept grounds was delightful. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic experience.

The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, with a stunning river view that allowed us to watch all the activity happening on the water. the grounds of the hotel were also quite impressive, with plenty of trees and walking trails that provided a peaceful and natural environment to relax in. Additionally, the hotel's location was extremely convenient, making it easy to access both downtown and the riverfront activities.

The only downside we experienced during our stay was the noise from people walking above us in the room. It was a bit bothersome during the night and affected our sleep quality.
