We had a great Christmas stay at a charming boutique hotel. the room had fun and stylish decor, with incredibly comfortable beds. the interior of the hotel was beautiful and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, with easy access to key attractions. We particularly enjoyed the quietness and cleanliness of the hotel, making it a relaxing place to unwind during our holiday getaway.

Although we had a positive experience overall, there were a few downsides. the walls between the units were not soundproof, so we had to deal with noisy neighbors until we confronted them.

I recently stayed at Ascend Hotel in San Bruno for one night due to a delayed flight. The hotel's own taxi service was a lifesaver, providing free pick-up and drop-off to SFO. The antique-style furnishings and luxurious bedding made me feel like I was in a European hotel. The room had ample floor space for packing and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel provided plenty of towels. The complimentary ride to the airport only took 6 minutes, and there was a good lounge with a selection of magazines. it was a perfect and economical choice for my short stay.

The private taxi pick up at the airport and lovely room made our stay at this hotel amazing. The gym was excellent and we enjoyed the wine and snacks around the fireplace. Although early risers weren't greeted with fruit and coffee, overall we'd recommend this beautiful, updated place.

The hotel is conveniently located on a main street with good casual Asian and Mexican restaurants nearby. The rooms have clean linens, comfy beds, and provide terry cloth robes. There is also a soft music playing in the hallways. The bathroom has a non-slip mat outside of the tub area for safety, and the shower area has mini amenities.

The vending machines on the 2nd and 3rd floors are broken and don't dispense chosen items, and there is no screen on the windows for safety.

The comfortable bed, peaceful surroundings, excellent soundproofing, friendly staff, beautiful decor, clean rooms.
