We loved our stay at this hotel. The location at the calm end of a small street and the close proximity to the city center were perfect for exploring the area. The staff was very helpful and offered great tours and ticket assistance. The room amenities, including heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and garden furniture exceeded our expectations. The fully furnished kitchen was a bonus, and we enjoyed having a washer and dryer in our room. The outdoor swimming pool and fitness center were also fantastic additions to our stay.

The Water Street Hotel & Marina in Apalachicola is a hidden gem for old people. Great location within walking distance to downtown, yet quiet. Interesting historic architecture, good restaurants, and proximity to state parks and beaches. Clean rooms with full kitchen and a nice view from the screen-enclosed back porch. Pleasant and friendly staff make this a wonderful stay.

The location on the waterway was excellent, and I enjoyed being able to watch the boats pass from the screened-in porch. The hotel had a nice pool and was situated in a quiet and safe area. Additionally, the hotel was close to everything in this city, making it easy to explore and visit many fun restaurants.

There was garden furniture on the terrace where I sat and watched the sunrise over the estuary. I also loved the fully equipped kitchen, the dining area, and the helpful staff.

The complementary breakfast was a nice surprise with a variety of snacks that we could enjoy in our own space. the location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the historic center and with a great view. the room was spacious and clean, and the balcony was a great spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.

The staff at the reception desk were a bit slow and disorganized. It took longer than we would have liked to get checked in and out.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. From our first floor room, we had a lovely view of the river and saw-grass. The screened-in porch was perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings while avoiding insects. Being within walking distance to everything was ideal for our teenage kids, as they could come and go without relying on us to drive them. Additionally, the hotel's location on the river provided a beautiful setting, and we enjoyed watching the boats coming in and out.

During our Christmas stay, we loved the spacious and well-equipped suite. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a complete kitchen and separate rooms for our luggage. The view from the suite was absolutely spectacular, overlooking the marina and channel. It was so peaceful and relaxing to watch the boats coming and going. We also appreciated the fact that the hotel was within walking distance to several restaurants and stores, making it convenient for us to explore the area. The decent WiFi was an added bonus for staying connected.

While the furnishings in the suite were a bit older and could use some updating, it didn't detract from our overall enjoyment of the hotel. The wooden blinds in the living area could have been cleaned more thoroughly, but it wasn't a major issue for us.
