I had an amazing stay at a beautiful retreat right on the lake. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, making me feel right at home. The setting was unbeatable, with stunning views of the lake and mountains. The location was perfect, with Homewood Resort just across the lodge. The ski resort had the best views of all the resorts in Tahoe and shorter lines. The resort also offered easy access to Truckee for delicious dinner options. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, from securing reservations to turning on fireplaces and arranging special seating. Despite a few minor issues like mediocre restaurant food and some worn-out details in the rooms, the overall experience was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this beautiful retreat to friends and family. it was a great value and I will gladly return in the future.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in several aspects. the attention to detail throughout the property was impressive. From the well-appointed rooms to the downstairs restaurant with its fantastic views of the lake, it was clear that the hotel pays great attention to providing a comfortable and visually appealing atmosphere. The location of the hotel right on the lake in Homewood was absolutely breathtaking, giving us the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings throughout our stay.

Our experience at this hotel was quite pleasant. However, the lack of air-conditioning in the rooms did make the afternoons a bit hot and stuffy, especially during the unusually warm temperatures in Tahoe.

Liked staying at this place for Xmas, the lake view was stunning and the quayside beautiful. Plus the staff were friendly, offering a beer sample before my drink.

Disliked the wasps that swarmed around our table, and we had to move when a couple arrived who wanted to dine outside. the coffee and hot water ran out too early in the morning, so I missed out on coffee before my breakfast.

For the price we paid, we got great value with a cozy and spacious King Suite, complete with a charming fireplace. The views of Lake Tahoe were breathtaking, especially with the snowfall during our stay. The hotel was quiet and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast items could be improved with softer bagels and the addition of knives for spreading.

The Stunning View:

Located in a beautiful area with a great view. the deck seating is extensive and looks very appealing. the lunch menu has excellent choices with a reasonable range of pricing. the service was friendly and fast. the tables are nicely laid with impeccable white tablecloths, giving it a classy atmosphere.

The overall experience was a disappointment. the room did not live up to the price, with a bathroom that was different from what was pictured.

The West Shore Inn was an absolute gem of a find for our weekend getaway. The location on the pier in Homewood at Lake Tahoe was simply breathtaking. We enjoyed mesmerizing views of the lake and mountains right from our balcony. The rooms were cozy and well-appointed, with attention to detail and a touch of rustic charm. The complimentary continental breakfast right on the water was a delightful start to our mornings. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

All aspects of this hotel were beyond our expectations.

Our recent stay at this hotel was fantastic. The King Suite provided us with a rustic and cozy atmosphere, complete with a spacious layout. We especially loved the fireplace, which added to the overall charm. The views from the hotel were absolutely stunning, and our stay was made even better by the snowfall during Thanksgiving. The hotel was pleasantly quiet, allowing us to fully relax. Additionally, the location of the hotel was excellent, right on the waterfront of Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed convenient access to a deli/market nearby since the hotel restaurant was closed. this hotel was a steal and we would definitely stay here again.
