I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The room I had exceeded my expectations, with a full kitchen and a bathroom that was perfect for my mom's needs. The view from the screened-in porch was great, and the pool cafe provided nice amenities. The restaurant in the parking lot had a friendly staff and amazing food, including escargot that was worth ordering again. Having a private beach was also a bonus, as it was not overcrowded and we were able to find a lot of shells.

I really enjoyed my stay at this resort. The proximity to the beautiful beaches was a major highlight for me. It was so nice to be able to easily access the beach and enjoy the stunning views. Another great aspect of this resort was how family-friendly it was. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of activities for kids to enjoy. Additionally, I loved the outdoor pool bar. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink by the pool.

While my overall experience was positive, there were a couple of downsides. the bath towels could definitely be improved.

We loved lounging on the beach with the provided umbrella and chairs, and the clean pool, grounds, and walkways made our stay even more enjoyable. The on-site restaurant was the perfect place to unwind after a day of sun-soaked fun. And let's not forget the highlight - the beach was lined with an abundance of shells, making each stroll a treasure hunt.

The “no see ums” at dusk were annoying and my wife and I suffered from bites. We had to buy spray repellent sold onsite.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Sanibel Island for a week-long vacation. The staff at this hotel were amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate us when our reservation got mixed up. They quickly found us a larger room at a nearby hotel with fantastic facilities. The location, right on the beach, was perfect and the breakfast at the Normandie was delicious. The hotel had a unique and cozy vibe, reminiscent of the charming B&Bs in England. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated. it was a great place to relax and enjoy the beach.

Additionally, the location of the hotel allowed for easy access to both the national Ding Darling park and Tarpon Lakes, and it was situated near a bridge inhabited by Hollywood actors.

The beach was just a short walk from our room, and it was beautiful! We had a great time collecting seashells and enjoying the privacy of the beach. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, especially Mary and Carrie at the outside bar/restaurant. They were so sweet and made us feel welcome. The location of the hotel was also perfect, with easy access to other attractions and the convenience of a nearby laundry facility.

One downside was the housekeeping service. They didn't make our beds because we had clothes on them, and we had to take essentials like cream rinse and toilet paper from the cart ourselves.
