We had such a memorable stay at a cozy lodge in Westfir. The owners were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. They even provided us with maps and guidebooks for hiking trails, which made exploring so much easier. The lodge itself had a charming, lodge-like feel, especially with the wood-fire heated living room where we enjoyed sipping tea and planning our adventures. Despite battling a cold, the owner made me feel at home and taken care of. The room was comfortable and spacious enough for our family of four and all our gear. Additionally, the secure bike storage in the garage was a huge plus. The breakfasts were delicious, and they even catered to our dietary restrictions. The surrounding beauty of Westfir with its covered bridges, massive trees, and roaring rivers was truly stunning. We would definitely recommend this lodge as a fantastic basecamp for exploring the local trails. a wonderful getaway experience.
