The New Yorker, A Wyndham Hotel boasts an excellent location just across from MSG. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. While the room was cozy with limited bathroom space, the charming historic design and the convenience of Tick Tock restaurant made for a delightful stay.

The atmosphere was alive with energy, and the staff always made sure our drinks were full. Loved the late-night snacks available for a quick bite after our adventures!

It wasn't exactly cheap, but the experience was worth it.

Excellent location, excellent experience with lots of nearby attractions like Times Square and the Empire State Building, making it easy to explore the heart of the city.

The room didn't come with ironing facilities, which was a bit inconvenient for keeping our clothes wrinkle-free. the heating and air conditioning worked well, ensuring we were comfortable throughout our stay. One thing we missed was a sitting area or terrace within the room to relax and enjoy the city views. The lack of these features made the room feel a bit cramped at times. On the bright side, the room did have an AM/FM alarm clock and a flat-screen TV, which was a nice touch for entertainment and keeping track of time. The carpeted floor was a bit worn out and could use some refreshing, adding to the overall outdated feel of the room. We didn't opt for room service during our stay, but the option would have been nice to have for added convenience. Unfortunately, we didn't explore options like car hire or valet parking, as we found the charges for pet accommodation quite steep and decided to stick to public transport instead.

Our family had a blast exploring the Empire State, roaming the bustling streets of NYC, and enjoying Central Park's greenery. The hotel's location made it easy to maximize our trip, creating unforgettable memories with our little ones.

Small bathrooms and dated decor detract from the experience. Some amenities, like a minibar and kettles, would enhance comfort. The shower takes its time heating up, and soundproofing is insufficient. A modest fee for luggage storage feels unnecessary. For a lively, bustling stay, it’s solid, but improvements are essential to match the vibrant surroundings.

I had an awesome time wanderin' around, as the hotel was just a short 20-minute stroll to Grand Central and only a few minutes from Penn Station, making it super easy to jump around the city; plus, we enjoyed a stunning view of the Empire State Building from our room, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. While the room was clean and comfy with all the essentials, the bathroom could use a bit of an update, but it didn’t affect our stay much at all.

The room featured two comfortable double beds that provided warm, restful sleep each night. Despite the inviting mattress and pillows, the cleanliness was lacking; dust and grime were noticeable in the bathroom and on the carpets. The layout felt cramped for four people, especially with limited space for luggage. No table for dining or a kettle for coffee was inconvenient. Noise from busy elevators disrupted the ambiance. The location was a strong point, with the subway just across the street. Staff interactions varied; check-in was tense, but later encounters were professional.

The hotel staff at the help desk were unhelpful and charged for storage. Room wasn't as booked, with old facilities. Tick Tock Diner was convenient. However, the area was unpleasant due to drug issues. The appearance was grand, but deceptive upgrade pricing led to an unsatisfactory stay.
