I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The value for money was unbeatable, with comfortable dorms, secure lockers, and a delicious buffet breakfast every morning. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old quarter, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

buffalo hostel in hanoi was even better than my previous stay. the young and pleasant atmosphere made it easy to meet new people. highly recommend!

Couldn’t fault.

The dorm room was clean and well-equipped with lockers and curtains for privacy. the beds were comfortable with shelves, lamps, and curtains. The free breakfast offered a good variety of choices and the food at the hostel restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced. The location of the hostel was perfect, within walking distance of many tourist spots and surrounded by a wide selection of restaurants and street food options.

The cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to par and it was quite hot and stuffy inside. It would have been better if there was air conditioning.

The hostel had spacious and clean rooms, with big lockers for all your belongings. the showers were always hot and there was never a wait. the location was perfect, right in the middle of the old town and close to all the action. Plus, there were plenty of communal spaces to hang out and meet fellow travelers.

The water pressure in the showers was a bit low and there were some water leaks in the bathroom. the area could get quite noisy at times.

Buffalo Hostel was fantastic. the location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the action. the rooms were spacious and the beds were super comfy, with curtains for privacy and storage for my belongings. the free walking tours and local beer were a great perk. I also met fellow travelers who made my trip even better. the breakfast buffet was decent, considering the price.

The hostel was conveniently located within walking distance of popular attractions and had a lively atmosphere. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and nice showers. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering a refund without being asked and providing free breakfast and beer. The hostel also had a swimming pool and organized fun activities like beer pong.

Noisy mornings with breakfast starting early.

I got great value for my money at Buffalo. The room was cozy and the location was perfect for exploring the Old Quarter. The staff treated me like family, always kind and helpful.

Menu for breakfast could use more variety, like boiled eggs or another type of fruit.

We had a great time at this hostel during our romantic escape. the rooms were clean and tidy, and we appreciated the TV and tea and coffee making facilities. the free WiFi was also a big plus. the hostel is located in a key location, right in the heart of the city center. We loved being able to easily explore the vibrant atmosphere and attractions of the area. the friendly and accommodating staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

the tall building meant that we were allocated a room on the 6th floor, but luckily there was a lift available. the poor English skills of some staff members made it difficult for us to ask questions and get the assistance we needed.
