We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old quarter. We were able to easily explore the city and visit all the nearby restaurants and bars. The staff here were exceptional, always happy and accommodating. They helped us with transportation and even organized our excursions, which were absolutely wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable, with a super cozy bed and a shower that didn't make a mess in the bathroom. we had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this vibrant city.

They even helped us book a high-quality Halong Bay cruise at a great price. The hotel's prime location in the old town made exploring the city effortless. The modern and clean rooms, along with the friendly and helpful staff, made our stay truly enjoyable. The breakfast provided was also top-notch. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at City Gate Hotel. the staff were so friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make me feel at home. They even upgraded my room to a double upon arrival, but when I requested a brighter room, they happily switched me to the single room I had originally booked. the reception staff were always kind and willing to help. the breakfast staff were also amazing, preparing delicious toasts with eggs for me every morning. the hotel was perfectly clean, thanks to the sweet and attentive cleaning staff. the location in the old quarter was ideal, close to Ma May road but in a quiet area.

I recently spent my New Year at a lovely hotel in the heart of Hanoi. the staff at the hotel were exceptional, providing exceptional service and making me feel right at home. the rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable, ensuring a relaxing stay. the hotel offered affordable tours, allowing me to explore the city without breaking the bank.

the bathroom was not up to standard, with poor ventilation and drainage issues. This made it a bit inconvenient and uncomfortable.

Free drinks on arrival and complimentary breakfast were nice touches. the hotel is located in a busy area with plenty of restaurants and shops close to the hotel. the staff was helpful in organising tours to nearby attractions.

Room was dirty and smelled musty. the bathroom was in need of a deep cleaning with mold and mildew present.
