We had a great experience at a charming hotel in Hanoi. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with attention to detail. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and always went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk away from the main attractions in the city. the breakfast provided was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. it was a wonderful stay.

There were a few drawbacks to our stay. The hotel had some water and electricity issues during our stay, which was a bit inconvenient.

The location was amazing, right in the heart of the city. Plenty of affordable restaurants and street food options nearby. The room was spacious and had a high ceiling. The breakfast had a good variety of choices. The staff provided great service and were helpful.

Please note that the hotel is located in a narrow alleyway and may not be easily accessible for those with mobility issues or using a wheelchair. The view from our room was not ideal, as it faced a neighboring building at a close proximity, so we didn't open the window.

I fell in love with this fabulous boutique hotel the moment I arrived. The attention to detail in the decoration beautifully captures the vibe of the city. The location couldn't be more perfect, right in the heart of the old town, just steps away from the Centre Church and Hoan Kiem Lake. Despite being in a bustling area, the hotel's tranquil alley provides a peaceful ambiance. The staff are incredibly helpful and provide professional service with a friendly touch. My Star Anise Room was spacious, with a balcony and a relaxing bathtub.

A True Charming Hotel - The room I stayed in was elegantly furnished and decorated in Hanoian style. The comfortable queen-size bed made me feel like royalty, and the salon table with a tea and coffee set added a touch of sophistication. With all the modern amenities like WiFi, cable LED television, and a bathroom with a refreshing shower, it truly felt like a high-quality establishment.

Narrow Alleyway.

This hotel has a great location, situated in a quiet alley but still close to many attractions. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering useful suggestions and directions. The breakfast is delicious, with a variety of fresh food options. Additionally, the rooms are spacious and well-maintained.

The shower drainage in one of the rooms wasn't functioning properly, causing standing water. Also, the air quality in the city during December was poor, which is beyond the control of the hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Maison d'Orient in Hanoi and it was truly a delightful experience. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet location, yet still conveniently close to all the action in the old quarter. I stayed in both the Ginger Room and the Star Anais room and both were beautifully decorated and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The comfortable bed, hot shower with great water pressure, and high-speed internet made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel manager, Lan Anh Luu, was incredibly helpful throughout my stay, assisting me with everything from getting a sim card to arranging fantastic activities in and around Hanoi. The rest of the staff were also kind and always ready to assist. The attention to detail in this hotel is truly amazing, from the lovely crockery to the delicious breakfast and the lush plants in the communal spaces. It is definitely my favorite place to stay in this price range for a city break. The location is ideal, providing a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city.

I recently stayed at Maison D'Orient in the heart of the old town for a few nights and absolutely loved it! The staff were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. They even made me a freshly brewed ginger and honey tea when I was feeling unwell. The breakfast was fantastic and the cozy breakfast area was a great place to relax. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, with attention to detail in every aspect. The location was perfect, being just a short walk away from the Centre Church and Hoan Kiem lake, yet tucked away in a tranquil alley.

The breakfast offerings could be improved, particularly the drainage in the shower stall that caused the entire bathroom floor to get soaked.
