I had a wonderful stay at a hotel in District 1. the staff at Ngoc Minh Hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel like a part of their family. They were always there to help, whether it was organizing day trips or ensuring our well-being. the location was perfect, situated in a quiet street among other hotels, close to the vibrant nightlife but without the noise. the hotel had comfortable beds, clean rooms, and a delightful rooftop breakfast under the sun. I also appreciated their offer of trips to Chu Ci tunnels and Mekong Delta. it was a great experience for a short stay in Saigon.

We also enjoyed the nice breakfast on the rooftop. For the price we paid, it was hard to beat the value. a pleasant stay.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, with plenty of eateries nearby and close to the city centre. It was tucked away on a quiet alley yet still close to all the conveniences of the city. The room was spacious and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and a hot/cold shower in the bathroom. The staff were also responsive and helpful, making sure all my questions and concerns were addressed.

The Wi-Fi connection in the room was unreliable at times.

Ngoc Minh Hotel is centrally located, making it convenient for exploring the city. the rooms were clean and ideal for backpackers like me. the complimentary breakfast served on the rooftop was delicious and the rooftop garden with beautiful orchids added to the pleasant atmosphere. the staff were friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed interacting with other guests during breakfast. There are also good eating places nearby and a local market within walking distance.

It was conveniently located within walking distance to many tourist attractions, and being tucked away in an alleyway meant that noise wasn't an issue. When I booked, I requested a room on the top floor and I was pleased to find that my request was granted. the free breakfast on the roof terrace was a wonderful way to start the day, with beautiful orchids and a lovely garden. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. the laundry service also met my expectations. it was exactly what I expected for the price.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I really got great value for my money at Ngoc Minh. The room was comfortable and the location was convenient, with easy access to main sites and places of interest. The hotel staff provided excellent service and went above and beyond to help us with our day trip and transportation to our next destination.

The hotel's cleanliness was top-notch, and the facilities were well-maintained. The location was perfect, right in the middle of this city's bustling backpacker area. Despite being in an alleyway, it was surprisingly quiet, away from the loud and crazy nightlife. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

They even gave us a free upgrade upon arrival and ensured our security by always being available to open the doors. Additionally, there are great dining options nearby and a convenient laundry service across the street. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location, friendly staff, and charming rooftop breakfast experience.

Loved the proximity to all the action - right in the heart of the city! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay memorable. The room was spotless, probably the cleanest we've ever seen in this part of the world. Plus, the fact that we could communicate easily in English was a huge relief.

Sadly, there were a few downsides. The noise level was quite high, especially on the 4th floor where we stayed.

stayed in hcm before, but ngoc minh topped it all. perfect location, tucked away in an alley but still near attractions. got top floor & free breakfast on roof terrace. clean rooms, aircon, free water. staff was helpful & responsive. a steal for $18-20 a night.

I recently stayed at Ngoc Minh Hotel for a week while visiting Ho Chi Minh City. The location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants, bars, and convenience stores. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, and the staff, particularly the lady at the reception, were incredibly friendly and helpful. I appreciated being able to communicate in English and felt well taken care of throughout my stay. The rooftop breakfast balcony is lovely and the orchid is beautiful. The location is strategic and the staff is friendly and helpful. The receptionist provided exceptional service and spoke English fluently. The room was as requested and the hot breakfast had a good variety. The elevator worked perfectly, which was a great help for my elderly parents.

Great location just a short walk from the lively Walking Street and yet peaceful enough for a good night's sleep. The rooftop terrace, where breakfast is served, provides a wonderful view and a relaxing start to the day. The availability of a lift was a pleasant surprise, making it easy to access the rooms.

One of the rooms we were initially provided had signs of damp and mold on the ceiling, but the staff promptly offered us an alternative room. A towel was missing in our room, and when we requested it from the front desk, there was some miscommunication which led to our room being left unlocked while we were out.
