We particularly enjoyed the hot tub on the top deck and the spacious, comfortable rooms. the boat itself was charming and not overcrowded, providing plenty of space for everyone. the activities offered were fantastic, especially cycling on Viet Hai island and the cooking demonstrations. the service was excellent, with friendly and charismatic guides. we highly recommend Peony Cruises and wish we had stayed for two nights instead of one. As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the sensational scenery of Ha Long Bay. The corner suite room we booked was very special, with a hot tub on board for cocktails. The food was solid with a fair spread at the buffets and a nice multi-course dinner. The excursions were fantastic, especially the bike ride to the fishing village on Cat Ba Island, followed by a 5-course lunch and kayaking on a private beach. The staff were attentive, friendly, and provided great hospitality. The cruise ship was clean, modern, and had spacious cabins with beautiful views. a once in a lifetime experience.
