had another amazing stay in matopos, this time at a hidden retreat. staff were incredible, food was delicious, and the views were breathtaking. the guides were so knowledgeable and welcoming. definitely exceeded all expectations.

Stayed at the Big Cave Camp Villa and had an amazing experience! The room was spacious and beautifully designed, blending in perfectly with the stunning surroundings. We were greeted with a cold drink and hot cloth upon arrival, adding a nice touch to our welcome. The area is incredibly beautiful and serene, with herds of zebra and wildebeest roaming around. We even had the opportunity to explore the Nswatugi caves on a tour, which was absolutely mind-blowing. Our guide, Shepherd, was knowledgeable and his enthusiasm for nature and birds was contagious. The manager provided great entertainment during shared dinners. The lodge itself was clean and the setting was fantastic. Comfortable beds, hot showers, delicious meals, and generous sundowner drinks made our stay even more enjoyable. We wished we could have stayed longer, although it is a bit pricey. a unique and memorable experience!
