We got great value for our money at the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. The location was perfect, near Nara park, and the staff treated us very well.

The food for breakfast could have been better.

We had a lovely stay at Nara Royal. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a wide variety of Western and Japanese options. The hotel provided a free shuttle bus to the JR station, making it easy to explore the town. The spa in the basement was a nice bonus and the staff at reception were efficient and helpful. we highly recommend Nara Royal Hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Very beautiful hotel, spacious comfortable room, good mattress, great SPA and onsen. 4 star level, fancier than other 3 star hotels. Good breakfast buffet with a large variety of food. Free hotel shuttle bus to historical attractions. Friendly staff, English communication, complimentary drink on arrival.

We had an amazing Xmas weekend at this hotel! The breakfast spread was so yummy and the view from the dining room was just gorgeous. The spa in the basement was perfect for the chilly weather - we tried the sauna and Japanese bath and felt so relaxed after a long day of sightseeing. The free shuttle service to the train station made it really easy for us to move around.

The hotel was a bit away from the main attractions, so it took us a while to get to the sights. , there was some language barrier with the staff - we had a hard time communicating with them at times.
