We stayed at Hotel Alfonso VIII for business purposes and our stay was excellent. The staff were professional, attentive, and pleasant. They provided us with helpful local information and advice. The main restaurant was closed during our stay, especially since we were looking forward to trying the cuisine. The cafeteria that was offered instead was not very appealing, with a limited food selection and a dull ambiance.

It was also conveniently located near the town center and on the outskirts of the old town. The room was spacious and had a modern and clean bathroom with a practical built-in shelf. The service was outstanding, with attentive staff and a welcoming cafeteria. The breakfast offered a variety of local products, making it a delightful start to the day. Additionally, the hotel provided free internet access in the lobby.

I did notice some road works near the hotel, which made access a bit challenging.

our recent stay in soria was wonderful - the rio duero's lovely paths and island park made for a fantastic walking tour. alfonso viii was the perfect home base, with its comfortable rooms, convenient parking, and beautiful long bathtub in the suite.
