We recently had a romantic escape at a hotel in Lafayette and it was a wonderful experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed that made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, with plenty of nearby restaurants and shops to explore. We also appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which provided a variety of options to start our day off right.

While our stay was overall enjoyable, there were a few areas that could be improved. the parking lot could have been better maintained, as it was in need of plowing and salting during our visit.

I really appreciated the manager's quick response when I needed to cancel a couple of rooms. The front desk girl, Shawn, was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel's proximity to I-65 was convenient, and the surrounding neighborhood was lovely for taking relaxing walks. Additionally, the beds were wonderfully comfortable!

We had a decent breakfast at Baymont, but it would have been better if they offered individual milk cartons instead of unsanitary shared open top pitchers of milk. We were grateful that they allowed us to check in a little early, and the tub in our room was a very deep jacuzzi. The staff was wonderful, especially the young woman at the front desk. She went above and beyond to help us, even accompanying us to our room to make sure our key card worked. The breakfast server was also very kind, inviting us to enjoy pastries and coffee even though we arrived after breakfast ended.
