The hotel's location may seem odd, but it offers unique advantages. There are water-side pathways for running right outside the front door, and downtown is easily accessible by the e-shuttle or a short Lyft ride. The bar has a congenial atmosphere, and the highly professional bartender adds to the experience. The bed in the sleek, modern room was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.

The hotel did not fulfill a crib request in a timely manner, causing inconvenience for a family with a young child.

The hotel's modernity and sleek design are fantastic. The spacious rooms are equipped with all the latest amenities, and the decor has a Bauhaus vibe that is very pleasant. The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of free parking and a convenient location for running and taking the e-shuttle downtown.

Two of the blackout panels on the windows did not work properly, and the touchscreen thermostat was ineffective, so we were not able to adjust the heat accordingly. The air conditioning also needs improvement, as it was inconsistent and made the room too cold at times.

My recent stay at Hotel Marcel was a delight. The newly renovated rooms were clean, modern, and beautifully designed. The hotel had a cool European vibe and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The technology in the rooms was impressive, allowing me to control the lights, blinds, and temperature with ease. The free parking space was a bonus, and the location, although a bit odd, provided convenience with its proximity to a nearby IKEA. I highly recommend Hotel Marcel for a comfortable and stylish stay.
