The staff here are exceptional! Helpful, courteous, and beyond. the room was absolutely beautiful, spacious, and had a ton of amenities; this will be my go-to hotel in PDX now. the location is spectacular, central to everything, walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and other Portland attractions.

One thing that could be improved is the bed firmness; it lacked support and was a bit too soft.

The views overlooking downtown Portland from my room at The Mark Spencer were simply breathtaking. Waking up to the sight of the city coming to life was a treat. The staff's swift action in transferring me to a quieter room after the initial inconvenience with construction noise was greatly appreciated.

The first room had a lingering smell and both bathrooms had hair on the walls, which affected my comfort.

I felt like a celebrity with the history of famous guests staying here. The rooms are spacious and comfy, and I loved the convenience of having a kitchen. The area is buzzing with great food options, and I even found a hidden gem of a garden nearby. My pup enjoyed the pet-friendly environment too—a perfect stay that left me feeling like a VIP!

The beds were heavenly, I swear those sheets were made out of clouds – ended up buying some for home, no joke! The staff were so friendly, like super helpful l know where to stay next visit around here. They've got free coffee and tea all day in the lobby, perfect perk for a caffeine addict like me. Elevator's kind of poky, just a tiny bit, but hey, the stairs do wonders for the step count💁🏻‍♂️.

The Mark Spencer Hotel was the perfect pet-friendly hotel in downtown Portland for our family! The unexpected closure of the breakfast cafe during our visit, but with plenty of dining options nearby, this was easily overlooked.
