The hostel was in a fantastic location in the vibrant San Telmo neighborhood, making it the perfect starting point for exploring Buenos Aires. The staff was incredibly helpful and provided us with all the information we needed for our trip. The rooms were clean and thoughtfully designed, catering to both backpackers and those looking for more private accommodations. There were plenty of comfortable spaces to relax and socialize with fellow travelers. The communal areas were lively and the breakfast served was satisfying. Despite some initial reservations, the staff turned out to be friendly and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable private rooms, complete with great beds, pillows, and showers. The proximity to a bakery, craft beer options, and a supermarket made our stay even more convenient. The hostel also offered free tours straight from the property, which was a major plus. We were able to store our luggage for a few days and even took advantage of their affordable airport shuttle service.

While the hostel had many positive aspects, there were a few minor issues that could be improved. The lack of hooks in the bathrooms made it difficult to hang towels, and a shelf in the shower would have been beneficial.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel in San Telmo! The bunk beds were so comfortable, it felt like I was staying in a luxury hotel. The room was quiet and I couldn't hear any noise once I closed the door. Each bunk bed had its own plug and personal light switch, which was so convenient. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had great water pressure. The common area was large and a perfect place to meet people, and there was even a separate Netflix couch area for some chill time. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

As a solo traveler, I loved the friendly and helpful staff at this hostel. The location in San Telmo was excellent, and the common areas and outside garden were perfect for socializing. The dorms were comfortable with only 4 beds per room, and each room had its own toilet and shower. The cleanliness was top-notch, with daily room service. The breakfast buffet offered plenty of choices, and overall, the hostel provided a great social atmosphere without being too crazy.

My first hostel experience at America Del Sur was absolutely amazing! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the fresh and great atmosphere of the entire building. The rooms were spacious and very nice, and I was especially grateful for the excellent cleaning service. Any issues that came up during my stay were promptly addressed by the helpful staff, who were also multi-lingual and went out of their way to assist me despite my limited Spanish. The hostel provided many opportunities for tourists, including organizing free tours and offering a variety of activities. my experience here exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be happier with my stay.

The staff at America Del Sur Hostel were amazing. They were extremely helpful in getting us around the city, even providing us with a bus card. Additionally, they booked us on a trip to Colonia and made sure we didn't pay for expensive options. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily return.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The design of the building was purposefully made for a hostel, and it really enhances the overall experience. The staff, especially Takács Alfréd and the others, were incredibly helpful and friendly. They even lent me an adapter for my laptop so I could work. I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived after a long day. The rooms were comfortable, and there was a great social area where it was easy to meet people. I was very satisfied with my stay and would highly recommend this place to my friends.
