My stay was for 3 nights and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for sightseeing and walks in the area. The homemade breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options like cereal, homemade bread, and jams. The location was ideal, situated just outside of town but with a bus stop right outside the hotel. The views from the room and common areas were breathtaking, especially the gorgeous beach across the road. The bungalow I stayed in was a pleasant surprise, with its own kitchenette and plenty of space. The secure parking and playful dog were also added bonuses. a relaxed and enjoyable stay.

Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast provided was delicious. the location was convenient, with a supermarket, laundry, and bus stations nearby. the best part was the amazing view of the lake from both our room and the terrace. the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

We had a wonderful stay at this hostel. the hospitality provided by Santiago and Francisco, the owners, was outstanding. the kitchen was well-equipped and there were plenty of plugs throughout the hostel. the living room was open and comfortable, creating a social and relaxed atmosphere. the view from our private room was absolutely beautiful, overlooking the lake. the communal areas were inviting and perfect for socializing. the location was ideal, with important bus stops and supermarkets nearby. It was a great starting point for day trips and exploring the Cerro Catedral and Circuito Chico areas. Even in low season, we had the shared bathroom to ourselves. it felt more like a home than a hostel. We highly recommend Bonita Lake House - Hostel & Bungalows for a fantastic stay.

We hit up the slopes for some sick skiing and had a blast. The staff were super chill and helped us find the best trails for hiking too. We even tried our luck at fishing and caught some gnarly fish. The activities here were off the charts!

The only thing we would've loved is if they had a cool party area at the hostel. Like a sick bar or a dance floor.

It was a small hostel, which allowed us to easily make friends with fellow travelers. the regular buses and nearby supermarket made it convenient to explore the area. it was the best hostel experience we've had.

My recent stay at the hostel was absolutely fantastic. I was looking for a peaceful getaway and this place delivered. The staff, especially Natalia and Santiago, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided me with great recommendations for treks and climbs in the area, which were easily accessible by bus just outside the hostel. The location of the hostel is breathtaking, with stunning views over the lake from the rooms and balcony. The hostel is also conveniently located near a small beach, perfect for a summer swim. Additionally, there is a big supermarket just a 10-minute walk away, and a smaller kiosk even closer. The shared bathrooms were surprisingly private and the kitchen had all the tools needed. I had a wonderful experience at the hostel and would definitely stay there again.

The heating system in the hostel can be inadequate at times, so it's worth packing some warm clothes to stay cozy during your stay.

Had the best time at Bonita Lake House! ! the staff were great, so helpful and knowledgeable about the area with super good recommendations. Family feel - we had a couple hostel meals together, which was lovely. the location was beautiful, about 10-15 mins by bus from the town centre! But very easy to get around. Can get to Circuit Chico in 10 mins by bus in the opposite direction from the town centre, a Todo supermercado a 10 min walk away, and there’s a beer house next door. Views from the terrace are divine! Thanks again, would definitely recommend!

Everything was perfect, from the amazing location right by the lakeside to the friendly and helpful staff. the views from the hostel were breathtaking, and we loved being able to enjoy them from the comfort of our room and the dining area. the hostel had great facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and always reliable hot water. Plus, the homemade bread for breakfast was a delightful touch. the bus stop right in front of the hostel made it convenient to explore other areas. And let's not forget about the adorable dogs, Coco and Borota, who made our stay even more enjoyable. this is definitely one of the best hostels we've ever been to.
