Visiting Patagonia for a remote experience, Estancia La Estela was the perfect choice. The buildings blend into the environment, allowing you to appreciate the wilderness and landscape. The staff, including Carlos, Carla, Gabriel, Lucas, and Pablo. Mixing with other guests in the evening led to new friendships and travel plan ideas. Horseback riding was a highlight, with breathtaking views of El Chaltén and Cerro Torre. The barbecue lunch in the dunes, hosted by Gabriel, was unforgettable. We thoroughly recommend a stay here!

Horseback riding by the beach and in the hills was a beautiful experience. The property is well-designed and cozy, with a bar, wine cellar, and fireplace. The location is convenient, halfway between El Calafate and El Chalten. An amazing stay at Estancia La Estela.

The Estancia Beautiful Estencia is located right at the foot of Lago Viedma, offering breathtaking views. The Torre room provides a stunning scenic view, with large and comfortable beds. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The food is delicious, especially the vegetables from their own garden. Don't miss out on horseback riding by the beach and in the hills.

As someone visiting Patagonia, I was seeking an authentic experience without breaking the bank. Estancia La Estela was the perfect choice. The location, overlooking Lago Viedma, was idyllic and the horse rides added a touch of romance. The modern rooms with an ethnic touch were cozy and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, and the common area with its bar, fireplace, and telescope provided excellent views of El Chalten and the stars. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the property itself was breathtaking. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic weekend at this hotel! The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially on a clear day when we could see the majestic Fitz Roy mountain. The location was perfect - a great midpoint between El Calafate and El Chalten. We loved being able to explore the wild and unspoiled beach by the lake, it was like having our own private oasis. The buildings were beautifully constructed and had big windows that allowed us to fully appreciate the stunning surroundings.

There were a few things that could have been improved. the additional cost for activities such as horseback riding and kayaking was quite steep considering the already high price of the stay.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with stunning views of the lake and strategic placement between two popular cities. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a perfect base for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and hospitable, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the range of activities offered, such as horseback riding and kayaking, added to the overall experience.

The shared dining table made some guests uncomfortable, as they preferred more privacy during mealtimes.

Moreover, the staff were incredibly warm and hospitable, especially Nicole, who checked us in and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The cleanliness of the hotel was also commendable, making our stay even more enjoyable.

I had a blast playing billiards in the fabulous games room, and the restaurant served the most delicious grilled lamb. The manor house with its stunning view of the lake was a perfect backdrop for horseback riding and other outdoor activities.

Oh, and I just loved how they only accepted cash payment – it was such a delight to go back and forth to the city to get the bill settled. So convenient.
