The location on the front of the lake is stunning with a gorgeous view. Spacious and comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the lake. Excellent sleep and delicious breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

We had an enjoyable stay at a hotel located right on the shores of Lago Argentino. The views were breathtaking, with small icebergs floating by in the distance. The rooms were clean and well presented, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and the restaurant had delicious food with an unbeatable view. The location, although outside of the town center, allowed for peace and quiet. A taxi ride was needed to get around.

The shuttle service to town was erratic, making us reliant on taxis.

This hotel exceeded all expectations! the location is breathtaking. Situated practically on the shores of Lago Argentino, the views from the rooms are absolutely amazing. Waking up to the sight of the lake every morning was simply mesmerizing. Secondly, the staff at this hotel are exceptional. From the warm welcome to the helpfulness throughout our stay, they truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Lastly, the rooms themselves were fantastic. The beds were incredibly comfortable, allowing for a great night's sleep, and the balconies provided a perfect spot to enjoy the stunning surroundings. And let's not forget about the delicious breakfast that was served each morning - a great start to the day!

Luxurious with comfy beds, welcome drinks, and a good, affordable restaurant. Convenient evening shuttle service. Stunning lakefront location with beautiful mountain views. Spacious, clean room and accommodating staff. Perfect for a relaxing walk and bird watching. 😊

The breakfast spread was delicious and the staff was friendly. The view from the room was stunning and the location was convenient for exploring the area. However, the rooms were outdated and lacked proper maintenance. The bedsheets were not clean and the bathroom was small and outdated. Additionally, the hotel was located far from the town and required a long walk or expensive taxi ride.

Amazing views and excellent hospitality

During my stay at Las Dunas, I was blown away by the breathtaking views of Lake Argentino and the surrounding mountains. It was truly a treat to wake up to such a stunning sight every morning. The warm welcome I received from the staff was also remarkable. They knew my name and were incredibly accommodating in helping me arrange excursions to Perito Moreno and other nearby attractions. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and despite the thin walls, I found it to be quiet at night. The breakfast at Las Dunas was by far the best I had during my trip to Argentina, with a wide selection of fresh fruit, delicious pastries, and great coffee. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in El Calafate.
