I couldn't fault our stay at Alatai. The staff were warm and understanding, even when we arrived late due to car troubles. The room was immaculate and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and a fully stocked kitchenette. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the CBD and Mindil Beach Markets. I highly recommend Alatai Holiday for a budget-friendly stay in Darwin.

The location of the hotel was convenient with easy access to restaurants and shops. It was also close to the Northern Suburbs and National Parks, perfect for exploring nature. Although situated on the fringe of an industrial area, it provided a peaceful atmosphere away from the busy CBD. The rooms were well-equipped with amenities like TV, microwave, and washing machine. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The housekeeping was top-notch, ensuring a clean and comfortable room.

Sporadic noise from phone calls on the verandahs and construction/renovation sounds disrupted the peace and quiet of the hotel.

Liked the convenient location, close to popular attractions and within walking distance to the beach, shopping and dining. Enjoyed the quiet setting and the lovely pool in the middle. The apartment was well-equipped with a washing machine and dryer, making it easy to do laundry on the go. Appreciated the friendly staff who allowed us to store our luggage before and after our Kimberley trip. A basic continental breakfast was a nice touch.

Disliked the dated and slightly worn-out look of the rooms, but overall good value for the price. The communal balcony was smokers' territory, so be prepared for the cigarette smell if you step outside.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It offered great value for money with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The rooms, complete with a small kitchenette, were well-maintained and provided everything I needed. Additionally, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.

Despite all the positives, there was one minor aspect that could be improved. The sofas in the rooms were quite old and uncomfortable, making it less enjoyable to relax in the evenings.
