Staying at Sakaeya was a truly relaxing experience. the hot spring baths, both indoor and outdoor, were soothing and the nearby landmarks like Jigokudani Monkey Park added to our family bonding. Though lacking private showers, the exceptional service, private dining, and spacious room made up for it. the sheer tranquility and attention to detail made our stay truly unforgettable.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I have to say, it was a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes were very generous. I especially loved the private onsen with its stunning views. The room itself was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. It was also a great location, right in the center of a charming onsen village.

Good food, great view of the mountains and the hot springs were relaxing. the staff was generally friendly and spoke some English. the hotel was in a convenient location, not far from the natural park and ski areas.

The bedding was uncomfortable and the pillows were too hard. the room was quite small and cramped, with little space to move around.

The location of the hotel was convenient, as it was in the center of the town and close to the train station. It was easy to get around and explore the area. The room was comfortable and had lovely furnishings. The staff provided excellent service and were very attentive to our needs. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. the hotel had a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The onsen at the hotel was a bit small and crowded at times, which made it less relaxing than expected.
