No kettle in the room and getting coffee from level 1 is a hassle!!! Also, the rooms are surprisingly small. a bit more space would enhance the experience!!! Noise from neighboring nightlife is a real concern!!!

the alex hotel is super chill and has a modern vibe. rooms are pretty clean and give you a cool indie experience. the breakfast is small but really great quality, and the coffee from the barista hits the spot. also, the location is sick – right near parking and walking distance to stuff. free drinks like water and tea are a nice touch too!

but the aircon was kinda loud and annoying at night. also, it would've been nice to have more seating in the room instead of just weird stools.

The hotel boasts an excellent breakfast with homemade granola and pastries that made every morning delightful! ! The staff were accommodating and eager to help, enhancing our experience significantly.

Expect noise from nearby nightlife. even with earplugs, bass vibrations made restful sleep a challenge. Some amenities could be improved for a better stay experience.

Great location in the lively Northbridge area. the breakfast spread was fantastic with fresh muffins and healthy options. the rooftop terrace provided stunning views of the city.

During my stay, I encountered significant frustrations. The WiFi information was confusing, and I spent valuable time trying to connect, only to learn later that the password was on my key envelope. Additionally, there was visible dust on the wall lights above the bed, which detracted from the overall cleanliness I expected. The room felt cramped, and the lack of proper housekeeping made my experience even more disappointing, as my requests went unnoticed.

Room had a lekker view over the city and the shower was heaven, proper pressure. Breakfast was simple but good with fresh bread and coffee from a barista. Staff were real friendly and helpful, and the lounge area was vibey for a cuppa or a pit stop before exploring!

Only annoying thing was the noise from the bar across the road, bit of a jol at night.

The location is super convenient, and the communal coffee machine is a nice touch. Loved the chill vibe in the cozy common areas!

Felt relaxed, no complaints whatsoever.
