Although our room was on the smaller side and lacked some amenities, the Aussie Rest Motel in Cessnock pleasantly surprised me with its cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient location near the heart of town. A perfect base for exploring the Hunter Valley region.

I had a fantastic stay with a lovely room and excellent staff, making it a comfortable experience. the hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, with a fresh smell upon entry. It was conveniently located near the hot air balloon meeting place, perfect for exploring wineries. the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall pleasant stay.

The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly and accommodating, even helping us with a late check-in time. The room size was spacious, and the tea/coffee facilities were well stocked. The location is extremely convenient, being close to the wineries and within walking distance of various dining options. The comfortable bed with a sofa in the room was a nice touch.

No issues, everything was satisfactory.

Always return for a break. Remember first stay, staff helped with my bags. Place suits me well, has Wi-Fi, Outdoor dining, Swimming pool, TV, Electric kettle. Quick check-in/out, Golf nearby, No pets, AC, Non-smoking. Love coming back for holidays.

Arriving at Aussie Rest Motel, I found a clean room with a pleasant scent. the bed was comfortable, and amenities like microwave and kettle were spotless. Conveniently located near the Aussie Pub for meals. Friendly staff added to the positive experience.

Minor maintenance needed, stains on the bedsettee. Noise levels could be improved.

Great location close to main attractions and restaurants. Comfortable beds and cozy room. Staff was pleasant and helpful with our needs. We also loved the air conditioning, a must-have in the heat.

TV stopped working and bathroom was on the small side, with a lack of privacy due to the frosted window. There was also some noise from adjacent rooms, but it eventually died down.
