If you're looking for a convenient location, Bairnsdale Main Motel is a great choice. It is fairly close to shops, the main city area, and the centre of town. The rooms are comfortable and clean, ensuring a pleasant stay. Despite being close to the highway, the motel is unfortunately very noisy due to the constant traffic of trucks passing by. However, the friendly and helpful owners make up for this drawback, providing information on local restaurants and places to eat.

The noise from the highway can be quite disruptive, especially for light sleepers.

Great place, very clean and nicely renovated. We had a comfortable room with all the necessary amenities. The $7 breakfast was delicious and delivered promptly. Will definitely return on our next trip. highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Main Motel in Bairnsdale. the rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet, and the friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure that my one-year-old daughter and I had everything we needed. We were even upgraded to a larger suite, which provided ample floor space for her portacot and allowed her to relax and play. the room was well-appointed with toiletries and amenities, and the wifi was excellent. the motel grounds were meticulously maintained, and there was plenty of bench space in the room. We also enjoyed dining at the nearby Lake Whadie Cafe, where the curries were delicious.

The owner, Database Matt, is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a/c and hot water. Spacious parking is available. Nearby attractions include Raymond Island and Gippsland lake reserve.
