Loved the private room set up, affordable and spacious, plus the friendly, helpful staff and 24-hour reception. the hostel has a chill vibe with the option to join a busy bar for a social night out or relax in peace; perfect for all preferences. Only downside was the limited street parking, but didn't affect the overall great stay. 🌴

we had a great stay at Base! the location was fantastic, with easy access to public transport and plenty of dining options nearby. the hostel itself was clean and cozy, with comfy beds and a sociable atmosphere. the staff were friendly and always willing to assist, especially Anita and Ronnie at reception. the hostel bar hosted fun events like bingo and trivia, making it easy to meet new people. overall, a highly recommended hostel for solo travelers!

We absolutely loved the location here - just a few minutes walking from the beach, cafes, bus stop, and tram station. It was so convenient to get around, not far or expensive to reach the CBD either. We enjoyed exploring the area, especially Ackland St with its charming restaurants, bakeries, and unique shops. Plus, being able to walk to venues like the Palais was a huge bonus for us.

Highly recommend this place to everyone for a fantastic stay with excellent service and amenities.
