The room was comfortable and reasonably priced. the location was quiet enough and out of town, which was a plus. the simple continental breakfast included was convenient, although the bread could have been fresher. It was nice to have laundry facilities nearby to dry clothes in case of unexpected weather.

The noise from the old style air-conditioner was very bothersome. It would be great if the hotel could invest in modern air conditioners to improve the comfort of guests.

During our recent stay at the motor inn, we were impressed with the recycling initiatives. The recycling bins in the rooms showed their commitment to the environment, and we believe that more hotels should follow their example. In fact, we suggest that they present this idea at the next tourism committee meeting and share how easy it would be for other accommodations to adopt this practice. we had a positive experience at Whalers Rest Motor Inn.

Bed and pillow were comfy. Amenities and crockery provided. Tea towel included. Towels were thick. Plenty of parking.

The hotel had tea/coffee facilities, a kettle, toaster, and microwave, making it convenient for quick meals or hot drinks. The location was perfect, tucked away from the main road, ensuring a peaceful and quiet stay. Despite its seclusion, it was only a short 5-minute drive to the city center, where we found plenty of shops and restaurants to explore.
