I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room at Big Valley Lakeside Motor Inn. As someone who has worked in the hotel industry, I know what to look for, and this room exceeded my expectations. I also appreciated the availability of plates and cutlery, which is not always provided in other motels. Despite some minor inconveniences like parking and thin walls, the overall experience was great. I would highly recommend this hotel.

What a gem of a hotel! The rooms were impeccably clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The location couldn't be better, with the town center and shops just a short walk away. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Best aspects of the hotel experience include the fresh and clean look, spacious and clean rooms, excellent shower, and friendly and helpful reception staff like Renee. The hotel's location is also a highlight, with an easy walk to restaurants and a short drive to historic areas, as well as being close to the beach and the city.

I loved the comfortable bed and the spaciousness of the unit. The hotel's central location was perfect for exploring the city and there were plenty of food options nearby. The park close to the hotel was also a great bonus. The staff were amazing and the breakfast was delicious and affordable. The pillows were uncomfortably hard and the bedside lamps were too bright. We also had a noisy disturbance from other guests late at night, although this was not the fault of the establishment.

The courtyard was spacious and the room was well set-up. The large TV in the room was a bonus, and the kitchenette was a nice touch. The host was friendly and helpful, getting us into our room quickly. The location was great, with easy access to everything in town.

There were a few minor issues, such as torn curtains and lumpy pillows, but they were manageable. The bathroom seemed a bit dated and could have been cleaner along the edges of the shower.
