We had an incredible time staying at this charming mountain resort in Queensland. The location was unbeatable, nestled in a remote area surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. We loved being able to spot platypuses in Broken River, just a short walk from the resort. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The staff were friendly and provided helpful recommendations for nearby activities. We also enjoyed a delicious meal at the on-site restaurant. a fantastic experience that exceeded our expectations.

We did find that the bunk beds in some cabins lacked bed rails, which made us a bit concerned for safety.

We had a truly peaceful and relaxing stay at this charming resort. The proximity to the riverwalk and platypus playground was a huge bonus. The information provided by Sigrid about the local walks was invaluable and she was always cheerful and helpful. Our room, though basic, had everything we needed and the bed was super comfy. And let's not forget the priceless experience of enjoying morning coffee on our balcony after spotting a platypus in the river. Highly recommended!

Free laundry and clean swimming pool. Rain protection for motorbike. Tasty and filling Fish and Chips meal. Comfy bed and priceless balcony coffee after seeing platypus.

Great rainforest location near platypus habitats. Room slightly worn but acceptable. Limited horizontal surface space. Restaurant food decent but expensive. Sunday room service offered full menu. Polystyrene delivery containers didn't feel worth the price.

Staying at the resort was such a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. the natural surroundings were breathtaking, with clear skies and crisp air that made for a refreshing change. the best part was being able to witness the adorable platypus in their natural habitat, just a short walk away from our accommodation. We also enjoyed the easy access to the national park trails, which allowed us to have a peaceful hike and immerse ourselves in nature. the staff were very courteous and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

Sadly, the food didn't live up to our expectations. We expected more in terms of taste and presentation, especially since we were paying a premium.

It's a true oasis right in the middle of the rainforest. The rooms are well-equipped with basic amenities and even have kitchen facilities, making it convenient for those who prefer to cook their own meals. I particularly enjoyed the cozy queen bed and the fireplace, which added a touch of warmth and comfort to our stay. The breakfast options were also a delightful start to our mornings.

No major issues, everything was okay.

I had the best time staying at this bungalow. Everything was spot on. The location was amazing, just a few minutes walk to the beach and close to great bars and restaurants. The cleanliness of the bungalow and the entire complex was exceptional. The facilities were top-notch, with a beautiful pool area that was clean and quiet. The transportation options were convenient, and parking was easily available. The staff, including the owner, were incredibly hospitable and always made sure I had everything I needed. I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

the location was incredible, nestled in the subtropical rainforest with easy access to all the local walking tracks. the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and provided excellent guidance on the best times and spots to view the platypuses. the self-contained unit was cozy with a wood fire, and the restaurant/lounge area had reliable wifi. We were able to fulfill our lifelong wish of seeing platypuses in the wild, along with other wildlife and beautiful red cedar trees. It was truly an extraordinary experience.
